The parable of wheat and tares in Matthew chapter 13 reminds us that good and evil will both exist in the same places.  it makes it quite obvious there will be times when they will look so much alike that we may not be able to tell the difference.   Good and evil exist in the places we shop, the places we work, in our academic institutions, in our government buildings and sometimes even in our homes.  The wisdom in this parable is that they will both need to develop to their true nature for us to be able to recognize them.   I realize this poses a great challenge for us to at times be subjected to the consequences of evil while attempting to discern the good.  My desire and mission is to ask God to give me the wisdom to discern the difference.  I am trusting in His calling to encourage Americans through Biblical teaching as well as commentary on the many societal and cultural issues facing each one.  I have a great hope of helping each one navigate our lives to be all that God created us to be and to enjoy the peace that comes from living with an assurant hope for eternity.  I will be offering consistent content on this site to enrich your lives and enjoy the wonder of being in relationship with Christ.   I would love to find that at times it even brings you joy.  My hope is that you will visit it often, recommend it to others, and that it will become like a stream of fresh water for your soul.                                                                                                                                                                                        Blessings, Joe
